Lost guide: get the poncho to warm up Elliot

In Wander, you can collect a variety of items and give them to different robot NPCs around the world. Some of these items, like sheet music and energy drink cans, are completely optional. Others, like the Poncho, require you to complete the main story quest.

In this Wander guide, we will teach you how to get Super Spirit detergent, power cable and poncho so you can fix the broken Tracker.

To note: You can do this quest in Chapter Four, but you won’t need to complete it until the end of Chapter Six.

How to Get Super Spirit Detergent

From the Guardian robot, do a 180, take a right and go up on the roofs. You should see robots throwing cans of paint from one side of the roof to the other. Go up to them.

The robot on the lower roof (the one that throws the paint cans) is the target here. It turns out that they are very easily startled by loud noises. Talk to them and the game will ask you to meow. Hit the meow button just before the robot launches and it will drop a paint can on the street. This will summon the grumpy robot that runs the laundromat. Once the can of paint falls, they unlock their door and start cleaning their porch.

Go back down to the street and go through the front door of the laundromat. Immediately to your left, you will see two tables close together. Jump down and grab the Super Spirit detergent bottle next to the Super Spirit box.

Take your new bottle of detergent to Azooz, the robot that runs the shop to the right of the Guardian. Select the electric cable on the ground and exchange your Super Spirit detergent for it.

How to get the poncho

With your power cord stowed in B12’s backpack, return to the Guardian and look for a sign. Follow the signs to Grandma’s Clothing Store. Trade her the power cord and she’ll make you a poncho. Unfortunately, this isn’t a cat-sized poncho, but a robot-sized one. Fortunately, there is a robot nearby that needs it to warm up.

What to do with the Poncho

Find another sign and follow it to Elliot’s repair shop. You’ll know you’ve found it when you come across a red door covered in posters and writing. Scratch the door and a robot will answer you. Slip through the open door and up the stairs. Talk to Elliot and offer him the Poncho. He will instantly wrap himself in the gift and offer his repair services if you need them.

If you already have the Broken Tracker, hand it over to Elliot and he’ll fix it for you. Otherwise, continue along the critical path until you get it.

Once you’ve repaired the Broken Tracker, return to Seamus so you can head into Chapter Seven.
