Today, Bandai Namco unveiled the first live gameplay of the upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter Gundam Evolution, which was announced last week.
During the long live stream, we got to see two exhibition matches, showing the popular mobile suit mecha in action.
You can check them out below.
In case you missed the original reveal, Gundam Evolution is a free-to-play first-person shooter for PC (Windows 10 is required) that will let you choose a mecha from the franchise and wreak havoc in 6 vs. 6.
There are three modes, point capture, dominate and destroy, and voice chat is supported.
The mechas announced to date are the RX-78-2 Gundam, the RX-80PR Pale Rider, the MS-06 ZAKUⅡ, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos, the MSN-04 Sazabi, the MSA-005 Methuss, the RGM -79SP GM Sniper II, the NRX-044 Asshimar, the ZGMF-XX09T Dom Trooper, the WD-M01 ∀ Gundam, the RX-75 Guntank and the RGM-79 GM.
Each mobile suit has its own powerful abilities and skills named G-Maneuvers. If you tell me it sounds a lot like Valorant with Gundams (and slightly bigger teams), I wouldn’t blame you.
A closed beta will be hosted for Japan only on August 8 and 9 and the apps are available here. official service is expected to start in 2022.
